Jonah 3:5
So the
people of Nineveh
[capital
city of ancient Assyria]
believed God {His message as spoken by Jonah the prophet},
and proclaimed [announced] a fast [decide to not eat for a period
of time], and put on sackcloth [material worn during mourning],
from the greatest [people of highest authority] of them even to the
least [people of low authority] of them.
